Rededication of the newly renovated Pioneer-era temple is set for April 21, at 5 p.m, by Elder Ronald A. Rasband. The Manti, Utah temple was rededicated on Sunday evening by President Russell M. Nelson. Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is scheduled to dedicate the temple on Sunday, June 2, 2024. The Taylorsville Utah Temple is made with structural steel and stone cladding. It stands on the former site of a Church meetinghouse and recreational field. The architect derived much inspiration from local pioneer tabernacles.
